In anticipation of the second season of Flight of the Conchords, Deep Focus was tasked with capturing the excitement and creating something fans would willingly share to help HBO spread the word. Enter the Lip Dub Video Fansterpiece. Consisting of a microsite and YouTube channel, we give fans an MP3 of the Conchords hit "Hiphopopotamus vs. Ryhmenoceros" to take away and make their own "lip dub" video.
The program was a success, garnering over 200 approved entries and celebrity Lip Dub submissions from College Humor's Jake and Amir and Funny or Die exclusives from Andy Dick and Chris Kattan. HBO even broadcast the final edit following an episode of Flight of the Conchords.
