AMC wanted to tease the release of their mini-series remake of the classic sci-fi series The Prisoner. To support their appearance at San Diego Comicon we devised a mini guerilla campaign around the message "Seek the Six", named for the series protagonist Number Six.
To kick things off, over the Comicon site, we hired a skywriter to inscribe "Seek the Six" for Comicon attendees to gawk at. Then we hired actors to portray members of The Village (the primary Prisoner locale) to give Comicon attendees a two-piece puzzle card with an encrypted message. When they decrypted the puzzle it led them to our prepared website which hosted an array of images wherein they had to find the special hidden "six" images. When they found all the images the screen would recompose itself into a mosaic image of both Sir Ian McKellan and Jim Caviezel to reveal the news about the upcoming mini series.
